Thank you for considering counseling services.

Dr. Goldenberg is an Olympia-based Licensed Clinical Psychologist.  He holds investment in creating a cooperative, transparent relationship between client and provider. There are many different approaches to counseling.  As an integrationist, this counseling practice incorporates several methods including cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic theory, humanistic theory, and relational theory.   While the modality of your counselor is very important, numerous studies have found that the most essential component of an effective counseling experience is your ability to connect with your provider.  Dr. Goldenberg strives to create a safe, collaborative relationship with clients that honors the strengths and resiliences of the client. Introducing skills such as mindfulness and viable practices of self-care are usually offered within counseling, as well as a deeper exploration of the themes of your concerns and building stronger connections between where you are and where you wish to be. Dr. Goldenberg is experienced with multiple ethnic, sexual, and gender identities and welcomes kinky and poly-identified clients.  He is available for individual and intimate partner(s) therapy for clients aged 13 years and older.  Dr. Goldenberg has specific experience in treating the following concerns:
