Dr. Goldenberg is an Olympia-based Licensed Clinical Psychologist. He holds investment in creating a cooperative, transparent relationship between client and provider. Dr. Goldenberg incorporates several theoretical orientations of psychotherapy, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic theory, humanistic theory, and relational theory. Since therapy outcome research often depicts the relationship between client and therapist as being central to healing, Dr. Goldenberg strives to create a safe, collaborative relationship with clients. Introducing skills such as mindfulness and viable practices of self-care are usually offered within therapy, as well as deeper exploration of the themes of your concerns and building stronger connections between where you are and where you wish to be. Dr. Goldenberg is experienced with multiple ethnic, sexual, and gender identities and welcomes kinky and poly-identified clients. He is available for individual and couples therapy for clients aged 13 years and older. At times, Dr. Goldenberg also facilitates therapeutic groups.
